  • GST is not applied on non-taxable items for human consumption, such as gasoline and alcohol.
  • Transportation options include metro, autorickshaws, metered taxis, and public transportation.
  • Transportation of farm produce and goods outside of India.
  • Transportation of goods and services with the total value of less than Rs. 1500.
  • Governmental and foreign diplomatic services.

PAN is required for registration as Goods and Services Tax registration number is based on PAN. Temporary/non-resident taxpayers must apply five days before starting their business. A person must apply for registration within thirty days of the fulfillment of the registration obligation in each state where registration is required by law. Step by GST Registration Process in India

  • Fill Part-B of Form GST REG-01 using the TRN, upload documents, and submit.
  • Receive an ARN i.e Application Reference Number via email and mobile.
  • The application is processed and, if approved, GSTIN (GOODS AND SERVICE TAX IDENTIFICATION NUMBER) is issued.

Fees for GST Enrollment

There are no government charges for completing the Goods and Services Tax registration process but you have to pay the professional fees. However, businesses that do not complete the registration process may be subject to a penalty of 10% of the due amount or ₹10,000.  After completing the whole Process and uploading the required documents  businesses will receive an Application Reference Number (ARN) via SMS and email as confirmation of their registration.
