  • In the case of LLP, registration certificate and Board resolution of LLP

3. For Company:

  • Certificate of incorporation
  • MOA and AOA of the company
  • Identity Proof and Address Proof of authorised signatory
  • Note: The authorised signatory must be an Indian, even in the case of foreign companies/branch registration.
  • Identity Proof and Address Proof of all directors of the Company
  • Photograph of the directors and authorised signatory
  • Board resolution appointing authorised signatory
  • Bank account details
  • Address proof of the working premise

4. For HUF (Hindu Undivided Family):

  • PAN card of HUF
  • Identity Proof of Karta (head of the family)
  • Address Proof of Karta
  • Photograph of the Karta
  • Bank account details
  • Address proof of the working premise

  • Note the Temporary Reference Number displayed on the screen.
  • Open the GST portal again, click ‘Register’ under ‘Taxpayers,’ and choose ‘TRN.’

Step 5: TRN Entry and OTP Verification

  • Enter the TRN and captcha details.
  • Receive and enter the OTP sent to the registered email ID and mobile number.
  • Click ‘Proceed.’

Step 6: Application Details

  • Check the application status and click on the Edit icon if needed.
  • Complete the 10 sections with relevant details.

Step 7: Document Submission

  • Upload required documents, including photographs, business address proof, HSN Code, bank details, and more.

Step 8: Verification and Submission

  • Click on the ‘Verification’ page and review the declaration.
  • Submit the application using Electronic Verification Code, e-Sign method, or Digital Signature Certificate for company registrations.

Step 9: Completion and ARN Generation

  • Upon completion, a success message will be displayed.
  • The Application Reference Number will be sent to the registered mobile number and email ID.

Step 10: Check ARN Status

  • Verify the status of the ARN on the GST portal.
